America IS our legacy. What will YOU do?

I know that I have lived on the greatest country on Earth. Or even in human history, for that matter. I know that know. But that is because I'm in my 40s and I've finally studied enough history to know that what America IS to realize that this was a potentially one-in-a-lifetime opportunity for people to be finally FREE.

I've been no perfect human being. I've often been no recognizable role model for others. But I will willing to leave this plane of existence with virtually no regrets. I've never destroyed anothers existence or reputation whom was not deeply deserving of it. I've often failed to help those who needed my help but I consider that there was never a chance that I could help everybody who needed by help no matter how hard I tried.

I have worries about my country but I have no worries about myself. For my own future, I know that whatever my fate I will have to face it and I will deal with whatever comes. I will rise or fall based on my own failing or strengths.

But for my country, I only wish that my fellow citizens spend as much time as they spend on Dancing With The Stars on finding out who the Founding Fathers are or reading the Federalist Papers and re-embracing the ideals of our Founders and making this a TRUE republic. Find a way to abolish Gerrymandering and get rid of those 'safe seats' in Congress and make ALL of Congress afraid of the voters. Why should any Member of Congress not fear the wrath of the voter?

Regardless of the district, any Congressman who gets more than 65% of the vote is a whore or an already/future whore. Conservative or Progressive, any Member who doesn't really have to worry about their vote is absolved of the duty to REPRESENT their District. That is an offense to our Representative Republic.

If the people can overwhelming oppose legislation like the 2006 Amnesty Bill or the 2009 ObamaCare Bill and still be completely out-voted by Congress, there is a need for either a Revolution amongst the people or a cleaning house in the House. There should never be a case where 70% of America voters DO NOT want something and the majority of the Members of Congress DO want to vote for something. At what point do they represent their Districts and not just the Speak of the House or the President and his porkulus pay-offs?

Not to make it sound like Glenn Beck is some kind of genius because he is just an average guy who managed to get himself a job in the media. But he has the right goal in mind - an America that our Founders would recognize. He is as close to a historian as we have in modern media. There are no other academics who are paying any attention to the fact that Obama and the Whores in Parliament (h/t P. J. O'Rourke whose legacy is likely Matt LaBash) have no interest in us knowing WHY they are who they are.

I would just like a country where my children have a chance that I had. My mother gave me that chance whether she knew it or not. Maybe it was tens of millions of others who actually gave me that chance so I thank you as well for my ability to have to chance to be free and become whatever my ability and desire could allow me to becomee. Just as the WWII generation gave their children a generation of essentially peaceful transition from the Great Depression into the Reagan Revolution, I hope that my children will be able to see a similar transition into a new era of freedom, expansion and exploration into every aspect of humanity, science and sociology (without the psychiatrists who appear to just be Nazi-era pyschopaths who want to do with drugs what Mengele couldn't accomplish with surgery).

There are more than 100,000,000 Americans who can be trusted to keep the Faith of our Founding Fathers and make America a different country than the rest of the world. Just like when the American Revolution came about, only about 1/3 decided to fight for independence. 1/3 decided to remain neutral (moderates) and 1/3 decided to remain with King George (need I say it???).

The 100M Americans who are willing continue fighting to keep America and American Ideal are our hope.

I can only hope that while I has here that I did my part. If I have to atone for my lack of effort or fortitude in defending the last defense of democracy or libery on Earth, then that is a fate I have to face. And if I am found lacking in my character or substance, I will pay the price.

I just ask of the rest of you that you not place yourself in the same question which I face now. Do not make it a question as to whether you did enough to save Democracy. Do not leave room for doubt that you supported and fought for Liberty. Do not leave any room for doubt that you were on the side of the Angels. Make your position known. Let no other man or woman be unaware that you are unwilling to sacrifice your fortunes or your sacred honor.

Hold Fast. Speak truth loudly and forcefully. Build your parapets and hold firm to protect those who are surging forward to beat back the scourge or European socialism and 'progress'.

America IS different. We WERE founding on different ideals. If America doesn't hold fast, no country in the world has any hope.

As many outside the US have said: If the United States of America doesn't stand for Liberty then where else do we turn?
